DEEP PURPLE Guitarist To Guest On SARAH SPENCER Album

October 19, 2006

According to a posting on DEEP PURPLE/DIXIE DREGS guitarist Steve Morse's web site, Steve, basist Dave Larue and drummer Van Romaine have been recording tracks for the upcoming album from Sarah Spencer, the talented teen vocalist Steve's been writing and recording with. Although Dave and Van will be playing on this album, it's not a typically high energy STEVE MORSE BAND project. The album will be mostly acoustic, but much of it defies a label. The main goal is to make beautiful music that suits Sarah's incredible vocals.

The guys are still planning to record a new STEVE MORSE BAND project that will be closer in style to something like "Stressfest", but have only mapped out a few track ideas at the moment.

Further news on both projects will follow.
